Black-eyed beans, also known as Castilla beans, is the most important commercial class of Caupi. It is mostly destined for export. It is a creamy white color with a black spot around the opaque hilum, more or less spherical shape, small size. It has a high content of minerals, proteins and carbohydrates and is easily digested.
