Product Details

Obtained from shelled millet, the oldest cultivated type of grain. It is an easily digestible product, so it is suitable for consumption by all suffering from gastrointestinal disorders. Millet contains silica, rarely found in food products, which has a healing effect on the joints, and also has a positive effect on the appearance of the skin, nails and hair. Millet has drying and antiviral properties, therefore millet is given in case of colds and inflammation of the upper respiratory tract. As the only one among groats, it is alkaline. In addition, it is a source of B vitamins (B1, B2, B6) and niacin, minerals: magnesium, iron, phosphorus, zinc and copper. Cooked loose, it is a great addition to stewed meats. It is perfect for thickening soups and casseroles. It tastes great sweet with fruit, dried fruits and yoghurt.
