WHAT IS CONTROLLED ATMOSPHERE ?
> During their transport, fresh fruits and vegetables undergo different processes using oxygen (O2) and transforming it into carbon dioxide (CO2) resulting in ageing and ripening.
> Controlled Atmosphere independently manages CO2 and O2 levels inside the container as respiration changes the atmosphere. Once the preset limits are reached, the system will then actively maintain both O2 and CO2 levels at the most beneficial level to preserve the cargo’s freshness.
STARCOOL CA
> This technology relies on respiration of the fruit naturally changing the gas balance inside the container. By surveying constantly the atmosphere inside the container, the unit assures the preset gas balanceCommodities: Banana, avocado, mango, etc.
CLIMACTIVE
> The latest and most advanced solution to maintain product freshness to destination by quickly reducing the level of oxygen inside the container using DAIKIN Active CA.
