AEDES is a non-profit civil organization with more than 25 years of experience working with organizations of small rural producers in the high Andean areas, revaluing agrobiodiversity and ancestral farming practices.
We advise producers in vulnerable areas in production, value chain, market development, protection of agrobiodiversity and environmental management in order to increase their income and improve their living conditions.
We articulate small producers with the market through advice and support for the development of value-added products such as jams, nectars, filters, etc; These products are made in compliance with production and quality standards and norms, which allows us to offer non-traditional products based on the richness of our agrobiodiversity.
Our alliance values ​​the knowledge of its partners, which allows us to also offer Andean grains such as quinoa and kiwicha, complying with international standards for organic production in the production, transformation and marketing processes.
Our producers have a philosophy of life based on harmony with nature, within the Quechua high Andean cultural model, preserving traditional values ​​and reinforcing Andean technological practices inherited from their ancestors, with methods that conform to the agroecological norms of modern societies that allows them to adapt to global environmental changes.
Our producers are produced in paradisiacal areas where the purity of the environment is protected sustainably, obtaining products with exotic colors and flavors, coming from its rich mega diversity.
